Judy Bond will give a review of The Knitters Guild Association and a tour of their website. TKGA is a non-profit organization with several primary functions including supporting local guilds like us. More broadly, TKGA provides a wide variety of education and certification resources for knitters including many technique classes, Cast On Magazine, and Master Knitter, Professional Knitter, Technical Editing or Knitting Instructor certification. Several GMKG members have taken (or are currently taking) classes such as Basics or Taming Tension. Others are in or the process of becoming, or have been, certified as Master Knitters. TKGA has a very active thread on Ravelry, which is a great place to learn more.
